MANY CHANGES AND LOTS GOING ON!!!

Again...

I don't know where to start.

How about I just post a few pictures and say a little about whats going on.
The pictures are much cuter then words anyway. :)

Addi LOVES her Daddy more and more everyday!
(I am positive the feeling is mutual)

The fun gift we gave Daddy on his
FIRST FATHER'S DAY!!
(Yes, she has HUGE hands and feet)
Russ is the most AMAZING dad!!
He loves his little girl more then anything!!

Addi is convinced she is a dog.
No joke, she would rather hang out with the dogs then any human!

Speaking of dogs...
Duke is a year old!!
Crazy I tell ya!
Where does the time go??

Addi jibber jabs ALL Day long.
She is really starting to figure it all out.
She even said "Josh" loud and CLEAR at his softball game the other day!

She is walking lots.
Can go from a sit to stand, then walk.
Where did my baby go?

She LOVES to eat!
In fact she puts EVERYTHING in her mouth!
(She got over that phase... or so I thought)

She doesn't sit still for ANYTHING
AND I MEAN ANY-THING!!

Aren't these the CUTEST shoes you have EVER seen?

She LOVES feeding herself.
And most of the time wont let me feed her.

This was this morning...

This is "Addi squared"
Yes, both of them are named Addi.
And they LOVE each other!
They are best little friends and are going to see LOTS of each other!

Addi LOVE LOVE LOVES swimming!!
(I've told you that MANY times before)
I am so glad its finally warming up enough to enjoy!!

She really is the HAPPIEST baby!!
I LOVE her more and more EVERY DAY!
She is SO smart and catches on to things SUPER fast!



This little beauty is a year old in a few weeks....

Not sure how I feel about that...

MUST.... NOT... GIVE... UP!!

I know its been forever!

I fully intend to blog tonight.
I've got LOTS to share and post about.

But to hold ya over...

WHERE TO BEGIN?

I really DISLIKE getting behind on pictures and stories...

(She LOVES playing in cupboards and drawers)

Addi is ALL grown up, ready to leave the nest....

Ok, not really, and I wouldn't let her anyway.
I need her TOO much!

(A daily ritual, she LOVES tearing the changing table apart)

She is SUPER fun!
So sweet, and happy 99% of the time.
Her laugh is SO contagious!
She warms my heart, and is
the light of our lives!
Makes getting up in the morning SO worth it!

{She loved the piano before she was born}

Addi is OH. SO. LOUD!
She lets you know when you have upset her,
or when she wants something.

Addi loves to SAY Jett Jett and Dadda.
She says both all day long.
All dogs are known as "Jett Jett".
All men are known as "Dadda".
But don't get me wrong, she KNOWS who her Daddy is
and LOVES HIM SOOO MUCH!!

She has about 7 teeth.
More and more come in each day.

(She stood like this for almost 2 minutes!!)

She was trying to walk there for a bit,
but this week has decided that she can get around faster crawling.
And boy can she! Speedy chick-idie!

She's eating almost EVERYTHING we eat.
(Minus the usual- milk, honey, and nuts)
I think today was her final "baby food" day.
She REFUSED to eat one bite.

I cannot believe our little miss is 10 months old!!

Last week "Uncle Jer" came to visit.
We had SO much fun!!
We stuffed as much adventure into 40 hours as we could
(Shooting, The Crater, BBQ, Cards, Fishing & Panda Express- His only request)
I tried as hard as I could to get him to move here...
I think he is still considering. :)

Addi LOVED Jer, and we all miss him so much already!


I hope to post more often.
However, Summer is on its way
(at least we hope)
And we plan on being outside everyday!

So hopefully we'll see ya here SOON!!

GUESS WHO...

LITTLE MISS ADDI TOOK HER FIRST STEPS TODAY!!

I would REALLY like to know where my baby went!
(Ok, she will ALWAYS be my baby, but she is growing up too fast!)

I am not a fan of falling behind on blogging...

We have been SO excited since they got engaged!!

I HOPE WE CAN SNUGGLE A LITTLE BIT LONGER

My mind is RACING,

and I hope I get this all out right.
My heart is LONGING to get this across.


The other night I was out and about in the house
when Addi awoke in her crib.
It was around 1:00 in the morning,
and she showed no signs of going back to bed.
(standing on the side of her crib SCREAMING for me)
I (with a little frustration) went in to try to calm her down.
Of course the easy way out was to pick her up and hold her,
and that's when ALL of this hit me.

We sat in the dark.
Just me and my baby girl.
Not a sound but that of Addi's snores.

And I realized, we are GIVEN these little moments.
All these frustrated mothers who's babies don't sleep through the night
-Ok, if it was ALL THE TIME, it would be frustrating-
But the occasional nights, THOSE are the given moments

I sat for a good 30 minutes and just cuddled with my little Addi.
She was asleep the minute I held her to me.
This cuddle was for ME!
She is growing up SO fast.
Before I know it,
she is going to be an independent little thing.
Wanting NOTHING to do with me.

So from now on,
those occasional nights when she needs a little more cuddling,
I am going to cuddle to my hearts content!


When my kids are kids,
have a nightmare, or have growing pains
(oh how I remember those nights)
I am going to let them get into my bed,
and CUDDLE as long as they need!

I remember when I was little
laying my head on my parents' chest
and just listening to them
That was MY comfort!
Even now,
I could fall asleep on Russ ANYTIME,
if I can just lay my head on his chest when he is talking.
It is the most COMFORTING thing for me.

This is why our little ones LONG to snuggle with us.
It is what comforts them.

I hope I am never to busy or tired to snuggle with my kids.


Tonight I found out that one of my best high school friends lost his baby girl.
I sat here, and SWORE that I will never take my little moments for granted.
My heart is aching for him, and his family.
He's also got a son fighting for his life.
And he is still positive and taking every moment he can to love his family.
Oh how I look up to them!!

So to end,
all I want to say is that
I hope we can ALL snuggle our kids a little longer.
Cause they wont be kids for long.

Or in my friends situation
We don't know if they will be here tomorrow.

We have had a WONDERFUL day.
Not much to say other then it was a GREAT week!

Is it starting to bug ya yet,
that I haven't explained what the heck I am talking about?

Well, lets just say I didn't even realize it until last week.
When my mom told me.

On the Beasley side
all of the grand kid's first initial spells BREAK.
And IN order!

We've got

BRIDGER
Happiest little boy,
and the smartest kid I've ever met!

ROPER
Cute little stud!
Always puts a smile on my face!!

EMMA
Addi's BEST FRIEND!!
Cute little bug,
and SUCH a character!

ADDISON
Our little beauty!
And the best thing to EVER happen to us!!

and last but not least
the newest member of the "Beasley" family
(Can I tell you how weird/fun it is to hold a BABY again?)

KATE
A darling little thing!

I LOVE THESE KIDS!!
They keep us all young!

On top of the first letter,
We have had a baby come into the family every year since 2008!
2008- Roper, 2009- Emma, 2010- Addi & 2011- Kate

BIG QUESTION is WHO is having one in 2012?
We HAVE to keep them coming!! :)
No pressure anyone...
Maybe there will be more then one?
Who knows!!
