Week 21

Beyond pictures I don't have much to post about!

We have had a fantastic week!
We are spending a lot of time together,
and loving every minute!

Jeremy's (our roommate) Fiance Deanna
is here this weekend too,
so we have been having fun with them!

So here are the pics!
Those pics are great,
but its one like this that make me feel much bigger!
I can't believe we are more then half way through!

Even more,
I can't believe we will be home in 3 weeks and 6 days!

As you see as well, I have added a COUNTDOWN
for when Josh gets home!
Less then 6 months!
Crazy I tell you!!

Anywho, No big plans for this week,
but maybe something fun will happen!

JUST A QUESTION...

-I need help from everyone and anyone-
I need a cute countdown ticker to add to my blog.
(A countdown to when my little brother gets off his mission)
Does anyone know where a good site is to make a ticker?
Or do you know where a good Missionary Countdown is?
Please let me know if you know of any good places!

Week 20

AND WHAT A WEEK ITS BEEN!

Sorry to be writing a day or 2 late,
Yesterday was too wonderful of a day to find the time to write.

Lets start with Last Sunday...
Valentines day, or as I call it LOVE DAY!
Well, it really was Saturday for us,
cause Sunday we had church.
Russ surprised me with a little gift.
I was unaware we were doing gifts this year.
But it was a very sweet gift.

And I do love stuffed animals!

And that was that day...
HA Not as grand as I remember it.
Oh well, it was GREAT for me!

Wednesday we went to the OBGYN.
It was great to find out that everything is still fantastic!
The practitioner decided to do an ultrasound.
She said she would TRY to see if she could see what it was,
but it was too curled up to tell.
We didn't get any print outs for that ultrasound.
It was SO great to hear the heartbeat again though!

Here we are at 20 weeks.
Down here in AZ they send you off to do the anatomy ultrasound.
So we had to schedule it to find out for sure.
We called up, one office was booked until the end of March...
Not a chance.

The other one had many open dates.
Even for the following few days.

We scheduled for Thursday the 25th.
(the soonest they had for when Russ was able to go)

So one week!

WELL....
Thursday morning
Russ decided to ask his teacher if he could miss a few
hours on Friday.
His teachers are awesome,
so of course they said yes!

I sat on hold forever that morning,
but FINALLY got it scheduled
FOR FRIDAY- The next morning.

We were SO excited!!
So yesterday morning we headed to get our ultrasound.
It started at 8:00.

The tech got all the pictures and measurements she needed,
The heart function, the legs, arms, head, and belly size.
It was so fun to watch our little baby for SO long!
It moves around SO much!
It never stops moving!
Just like Daddy!
We are right on track for size as well!
Still 20 weeks!

Then it was time to see what it was.
The baby had its hands under its bum.
Then it would change to where it wouldn't be in a good position.
FINALLY we got a shot. AND...
ITS A GIRL!
This is not the picture that proves she's a girl,
Ha ha ha, so no worries

We are SOO excited!
Walking on clouds, is the best way to explain it!

It is SUCH a relief to finally know!
We can call her by name.
And start planning for HER!

She has been named,
but I will NOT be posting it on my blog until she is here.
Family and close friends do know her name.
I ask that you keep that to yourself.
We don't need it posted here on my blog,
just yet.

After we found out what she was,
the technician wanted to get a GOOD profile picture for us to take home.
Our little baby kept looking out,
so it was impossible to get a profile picture of her!
It literally took a HALF HOUR to get a good picture.
I had to roll side to side probably 15 times.
I had to get up and bend forward, we tried EVERYTHING!
I'm sure she thought it was funny to make us wait.
After struggling so long,
she FINALLY just turned her little head.
And sucked on her hands!
Such a sweetie!

We were finally done at 9:00 and able to call our parents.
Everyone is SO excited!

She's already a little beauty,
and we love her LOTS!

So there you have it!!
Our ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC week!

Week 19

Here we are, another week down!
I cannot believe next week marks the half way point!

Not much happened this past week.
We are just keeping busy with little projects.

As far as I go, I have been really blessed!!
I have occasional bad days, but they are occasional!
This week I had a lot of muscle stretching,
and my lungs felt like they were on fire.
But it only lasted a day!
I cannot complain at all!!

So here are the pics of the week!See I told you last weeks outfit made me look bigger then I am!
And don't ask about my face,
Apparently I don't know how to look normal for pictures anymore.
Or maybe Russ said something funny like he does...

This one looks a little better.

So that is our week.
Next week will be MUCH more informative.
We have an appointment on Wednesday!!
We cannot wait!!

I have been playing
Cristofori's Dream & Return to the Heart
everyday, multiple times a day.
So you'd better get to practicing!! :)
I've got a feeling this little baby is going to love listening to
Grandpa play the piano!
And of course that's one of my all time favorite things too!
We can't wait to hear it FROM YOU,
when we get home in 6 weeks!

Week 18

We're back up and running!
I have some pictures I wanted to post lately,
so I today is my day to post.

Yesterday I hit 18 weeks.
I cannot believe we are almost half way!

It REALLY didn't hit me that we were pregnant until this week.
Sound weird?
Well if you've been prego, you MAY know what I am talking about.
If not, you'll see what I am talking about at some point.
We talk about that fact that we are,
but until you feel the baby, or get bigger, you really don't believe it.
We even SAW and HEARD the baby at 11 weeks,
but going so long without see it or hearing it,
you start thinking you made it up.
I am so EXCITED that we are, and ECSTATIC its finally sinking in!

ANYWHO!
On with the pictures!
If you remember 2 posts ago, AZ was flooding EVERYWHERE!
This picture was taken during that fun time!
It looked like this for almost 24 straight.

That weekend we decided to head up to Wickenburg to check out the damage.
Nothing had changed...
You could tell there WAS a lot of water, but we didn't see any of it.
So then the boys went shooting!
They had many competitions. It was fun to watch!
We all had a really good time.
I stayed in the truck the whole time. :)

And here we are at 18 weeks.
I don't know if it was the outfit,
or if I really have grown that much in a week...
I guess we will see what next week looks like!

And I think that is all.
I was down and out most of this past weekend.
I MADE myself get out and be with the boys all week.
So we have been playing out in the garage all week.
Sorry, no pics.
We are starting to get tan, and I have had a LOT of fun with the boys.

I've been REALLY enjoying my time with Russ.
I've realized of late that this will be that last 7 weeks I will get to spend ALL day with him.
It makes me sad, but I will not let these weeks fly by being sad for whats to come.
Its a whole new adventure we get to experience together!!

This morning I just laid and watched him get ready for school.
I LOVE this man!! He is SO handsome, I am one lucky girl.
I could just sit and watch him ALL day!
And will for the next 7 weeks!
