HOLY SNOW FLAKES!!

I think I am offically over winter! I was SO happy that Spring was here, and then I wake up Sunday morning to THIS!Where the heck did it come from? I thought it was supposed to RAIN in the spring?
Ok-ok, I have lived in Utah long enough to know Utah weather is NEVER what its supposed to be. We get snow in the Summer, and hot days in the Winter. I was still a little shocked to wake up to this much though!

Lastnight while drivin home from Russ's, the snow was coming down in flakes bigger then I have EVER seen. (and I am not kidding I have lived here for 22 years and they were HUGE!)

I had to take more pictures of it. These do not do them justice, but I am tellin you, they were VERY big! It was cool.

Anyway, those are my feelings about that.... So, lets pray this cold GOES AWAY!! Driving this morning was a NIGHTMARE, and I am ready for a TAN!

5 YEARS AGO TODAY!!

Today is Russ and My 5th year... Whatever.. Anniversary or what not! (Kind of awkward to call it an "Anniversary", but its from when we started dating)

I seriously cannot believe its been 5 years!! That's crazy!!!

5 years ago today, he called me for the first time, and said... "Hey!! come on over!" (we had talked before, but I had never gone to his house to "hang out" with him)

I got off the phone and my mom said... Who was that. I quickly replied... "This boy named Russell Snyder... who I think is SOOOO Cute!" I headed out the door immediately, and drove down to his house.

From the minute I walked in the door, we just knew we were never going to be apart.

He ASKED me to prom about 5 minutes after I walked in... Of course you cannot just ASK a girl to go to prom with you, so I said "You cannot just ASK like that, you need to do something fun!" We had a lot of fun the first day, and it never had one of those "awkward moments" like a first date.

*He asked me to prom the following morning with a basket of candy and little pieces of paper cut up saying "Will- you-go-to-prom-with-me?" Very cute! I responded with a VERY BIG "YES" on the old '77. And filled the truck with candy bars.

So I NEED to say... Russ, I have LOVED EVERY minute!!

I still miss you when we are apart, even though I know I will see you hours later!

You have been an AMAZING boy friend, the love of my life, and most of all the BEST FRIEND I have EVER had!

I love you babe!!

Happy 5th year... WHATEVER!!

"I BET YOU DINNER THAT'S NOT TRUE!!!"

Last night Russ and I were out working and having a good time, when he started being a sarcastic dork.

I told him that he had the BIGGEST heart EVER... Cause he was being such a smart alec. He said "whatever" (like I didn't know what I was talking about). So I said... You have a HUGE hand which means you have a HUGE heart. And your BRAIN... How does it fit in your head?? Both your hands are GI-NORMOUS! He looked at me and with out even thinking goes... That’s not true. (HA- I know this is true) So I said... OH REALLY? I bet from the bottom of your palm, to your crease on your elbow, is the same length as your foot.

He got so excited and said "I bet you dinner that's not true!!!"

I shook his hand and said “DEAL!”

He quickly grabbed his measuring tape, measured his foot, and goes "10 and a 1/2 Inches.... Well.... I guess you could be right." He was VERY hesitant to even measure his arm cause he knew he was wrong. Measured his arm, and looked up completely stunned that I was right.

Let it be known... I was actually smarter them him on something!!

After he figured that out, he goes... so is it true that your hand is as big as your face... I am not that stupid to fall for that anymore... so I just said yes.

There are SERIOUSLY so many things on our bodies that do that. I want to investigate to see what other ones are out there, cause they are seriously fascinating!

I know from finger tip to finger tip is how tall you are... I will find out more and inform you.
Lesson learned, ladies... if you want a free meal or really anything on your man, just use your basic knowledge and you will be granted your wish!

SPRING HAS SPRUNG-EASTER

Well I don't have anything clever to say today... Sorry! But a lot has happend in the past few weeks, so here goes.

March 20th was the offical 1st day of spring, and I am SO happy about it!
We had a very long-cold winter, I am glad the sun has finally come back!
More fun in the sun, here I come! I must say, I got a pretty killer tan this weekend too!! Very exciting!
I hope everyone had a very Happy Easter! I know I sure did.
I always LOVE getting the chance to spend time with family! We all talked for hours, and I LOVE THAT!! I have one of the best familes in the world! I love them all very much! Even when we are not all there, I know we still love eachother!
Thats all for today. I've had major Blogger lag lately, so hopefully I'll pick up the pace again!

RENTAL CARS- FRIENDS-DOG BITES

I have SO much on my mind right now! I had a wonderfully fun night and SO much happened.
I hope I can write all that I am thinking and make it just as fun as I remember. Sorry for the novel.
To start... Rental Cars. Ok who is the genius that thought this one up? "Enterprise... Can you pick me up? Your rental car just exploded..."
Let me paint the picture for you.
Russ has had his truck in the shop all week long. He finally put his foot down and demanded a rental car. The poor saps gave in, and gave him the "coolest" PT Cruiser. (You have no idea how hard I am laughing right now... Yes, the big man is in a tiny car). His buddies at work say he looks like a turtle getting out of its shell.
So anyway we are out "Crusin" in it, and just by common nature you have to beat the heck out of these things! We were aiming for the pot holes! Flooring it everywhere we went, which is not very fast. I swear we could run faster then this thing fully pinned.
Then we get on the freeway... You know those cars that get on the freeway doing, oh lets say, 35? It's not cause they are slow drivers, its because the car will not go any faster. Russ was pushing this thing at 7 Grand to get the car to move. We were laughing so hard the whole time. I must say, its a good thing he did not pay the $12.99 for full coverage, cause if so, he would have paid to DESTROY that poor little car. Fortunately for the car, Russ's truck is done.


FRIENDS. Last night we hung out with Lacee (my bestfriend) and Jason (her man). We had SO much fun! First off, Lacee could not get a hold of Jason and was terrified that he was DEAD. Yes dead! He left his phone at home... And that was the end of that.

Russ and I headed over to Lacee's in the "PT" having fun all along the way, to say that least. Anyway the TV there was being "Used until 10:00"... (Breathe Lacee) so we decided to go to Jason's to watch a movie and have pizza. The GREAT friends that they are, along with Russ, decided it would be fun to bring Diesel-Lacee's roommate’s dog. I swear this dog had it out to get me all night. After eating, and sitting down on the couch, we all decided it would be fun to wrestle a bit. I am about to push Russ when out of NO WHERE this dang dog is in my face! Anytime I would go to touch Russ she would come after me! She was nipping my feet, biting at my hands, biting my ankles, seriously anything she could grab on to. Everyone is laughing while this devil of a dog is attacking me (I am laughing as well, no worries). She got my hands really good, then the final straw... she got her whole mouth on my arm. I called it good at that point. I had enough of being attacked. I do have a few cuts and bruises but I did come out pretty clean. Dang dog... I DID NOTHING TO YOU!! Why do you hate me?

Russ and Jason took the dog home, and what do girls do when they get alone? Take pictures of course! We found Jason's camera SO fast and took so many pictures! We will have to post them when Lacee gets them off, it was fun! Best part of all is when the boys walk back in the house and you are laughing too hard to cover it up. Lacee was trying to get the camera to turn off but couldn't cause she was laughing so hard.... all she could say was, "I can't get it to shut off... I can't get it to shut off!" It was way funny!
Anywho, We watched "Dan in Real Life", I highly recommend it. It was a great movie!

TWIDDLE

So I was sitting here about ready to "twiddle my thumbs" debating on what to do next, when I thought to myself... What on earth does "twiddle" mean? And who HONESTLY came up with that word. So I asked my good friend dictionary.reference. He so quickly told me it means.... "to turn about or play with lightly or idly, esp. with the fingers; twirl."
I don't think that quite answered my question. I get the whole turn around or play with lightly. But usually when I twiddle my thumbs, its not lightly. Its rapid and sometimes my thumbs collide causing a disruption in the "twirl", ending the turn about.
There are so many things that we "twiddle" a day that I did not even realize was a twiddle.
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but when you hold a pen in the air and move it around, is that not considered twiddling if used in this reference?
I still cannot see who came up with the word, but I do see the origin, and it says "Twitch".
So now, when you twiddle your thumbs you are twitching! Nice, I have a really bad twitch!
In closing however, I am going to say... Be aware! Apparently "Twiddling your thumbs" can become addictive and will become a "twitch" you may not even realize you have!
All I can say is... GOOD DAY SIR... GOOD DAY!

BLOGGIN FUN AND FRUSTRATIONS

So today, my good friend Lacee and I have been getting to know "Blogger" a little better.
I must say, it has be a RIOT trying to figure this stuff out.
She'll write... DON'T LOOK AT MY BLOG, and of course I cannot help but look!
She is so much better at this then I am, and her blog looks so cute!! She's pro!
I think she is getting a little flustered with it all though. Hopefully she'll figure it out.
I keep changing mine, and don't like how it turns out.
So if anyone is opposed to the look, now is the time to speak up.
I am probably going to keep it this way, but I really do like it!
Anywho, I am sure I'll think of more to write later... We'll see.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SPECIAL SOMEONE!!!

Of course I am new at this, so I did not get the chance on Monday to say this, so I am doing it, well... Now!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUSS!! May all your dreams and goals come true!! May you have many more to come! You are the best friend anyone could ask for and so more!! I love you so much!!!

SOMETHING NEW- ROAD TRIP- GETTING LOST- LOTS OF LAUGHS

Yes, that’s right, this weekend we went on a road trip down south.
Details will be limited considering I do have a lot to do, but all that needs to be said was that it was SO much fun. We had a WONDERFUL time! I love Russ so much, and love every minute I get to spend with him! No pictures were taken... sorry, we aren't picture folks.
In remembering, I must share a funny experience.
While on our trip we got a "little lost". Ok it was a lot lost... We drove around the airport for heaven sakes. I don't understand why freeways are labeled so bad! It never said, turn right for the main road (although I did say... "HEY TURN OFF HERE!") For some reason whenever Russ and I drive places, we always get lost. I have decided its better just to shut my mouth and see HOW lost he can get us. We always get a kick out of how far out of your way you can go, just by missing one turn off. Of course we laughed the entire time. We did end up finding our way off the freeway, and out of the airport. Great times to say the least.
