THE FUN HAD TO COME TO AN END...

Saturday we went to the Diesel Drags.
Its was super fun,
but SUPER hot!
(Go figure we never got the camera out)

Us girls (Heather, Addi & myself)
stayed in the air conditioned truck
most of the time.
That was actually fun.
We listened to the Drags on the radio,
had front row seats, and LAUGHED A LOT!

Russ hung out, outside, with his buds.
I should have covered HIM in sunscreen...
Oh well!
(He was only lobster red for a few days)

This is what Addi did for MOST of the drags.
The sun sure took it out of her!

After the drags we headed to
BUFFALO WILD WINGS
(for the second time)
Addi promptly poured my whole drink on me.
SOOOO glad I ordered water!!

Sunday we headed to the Brown home to have lunch.
(Callie served in the YW with me in AZ)
It was FANTASTIC!
I got to see some of my girls there too!!
Oh how I miss my AZ people!!
(But SO happy to live in UT!!)

Put her in the car and this is what she does!!
So great at it!!

(Yeah it was HOT)

We headed to Heather & Eric's to end the trip.
Bathed Addi and HIT THE ROAD!

And I must say that was
THE LONGEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!

It was super fun,
but I COULDN'T stay awake!

Past Nephi, I was DELUSIONAL!!
I couldn't keep my eyes open,
and my head was bobbing EVERY which way.

Anyway, we got home SAFE and sound.

I LOVE traveling with my little family!
And can I tell you,
I LOVE hotel rooms!!
Seriously
a hotel room is a vacation to me!

Addi had a blast!

WE LOVE OUR AZ FAMILY

We took a day to make visits

and saw our family on Friday.


Mel, Scotty, Remy
Had a WONDERFUL lunch with them!
Then got to see Cone & Michelle

Then we headed over to the Shepard home.
And got to see Stace, Troy, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Mitchell & Parker
(Sorry Julie, you had to work...)


Oh how we miss our family that is out there!
And I cannot believe all the changes Mel and Scotty
made in the time we've been gone.
Lets just say, if we were still down there,
we would be there once a week!!
(Your pool & playset= AMAZING!!)

ARIZONA 2011

We are most likely going to make this

a yearly trip.
We get to see a lot of family & friends
and of course enjoy the sun!
The Diesel Drags are in AZ and Russ LOVES them!
So why the heck not?

We left the afternoon of the 9th
(the day before Russ' birthday)
Its SOOO much easier to travel when Addi is sleeping!
And Russ was on his work schedule, so it was PERFECT!

Minutes after we hit the road!

We stopped at Great Grandma & Grandpa Snyder's house.
Had a WONDERFUL and FUN dinner with them!

Funny story from dinner.
I got up to go to the bathroom.
Russ, Grandma & Grandpa were playing with Addi
then got to talking
leaving Addi to entertain herself.

Well, apparently Addi wanted attention
so she BELTED out a high scream.
(Of course getting every one's attention)
When they all looked at her,
she smiled, laughed then jabbered on.

I guess she likes ALL the attention on her! :)

the week before we went to AZ Addi had the flu.
Teething and a changed environment in AZ.
Then she got a cold this week.
(I CANNOT wait for Summer)

I have had a few rough weeks...
but am not complaining!!
I am just trying to comfort my little sweetie!

Little Miss Addi has been VERY sweet considering!

She LOVED football season,

Well, Addi has been sick since Friday.
So its been a LONG weekend.
She finally seems on the mend today.

Kept ALL her food down,
and was a LITTLE happier.
(Still not all the way back to normal)

On top of being sick she is teething.
Two bottom teeth, about to come in.

Oh, and Duke was fixed last Wednesday.

Its been a little rough around these parts.

But I am happy to say that Russ and I
went on a "date" for the first time in almost year,
without Addi of course.

She was sick, so it cut the night short,
but we made it a goal to do it more often.

I did of course miss Addi the WHOLE time.
But LOVED spending those few moments
with my HANDSOME husband!

We are off to the sun in 2 days
(technically tomorrow cause it is a little after midnight)

Maybe I'll post from down there?
Probably not though.
We have a pretty full schedule.
But we hope you are all well!!
