Week 38

Anyone anxiously waiting?...

That's what I thought.

Sorry to be posting so late,
We've been a little busy with puppies!

Let's start with some puppy pictures,
then we'll move on to week 38.
The puppies are growing SO fast!
They are SUPER cute!
We love spending time with them!

Here are a few of my favorite pics.

Just wait until our baby arrives! :)

Duke is doing well.
We ADORE HIM!
HE WARMS YOUR HEART!
AND IS SUCH A CUDDLE BUG!

He is the smallest of the puppies,
We hope he starts to get a little bigger soon!
If not, we will love him anyway he is!
And there you have it!

As for week 38,
we had a close call.
When I went in on Thursday my blood pressure was on the line.
They took my blood pressure,
asked for a few more things.
Took my blood pressure again,
and then left the decision up to my Dr.
They were pretty convinced I was headed to the Hospital.

I was in a little panic.
Mostly because Russ was at home DEAD ASLEEP,
and I wasn't sure what I would be able to do
as far as going home and what not.

I did say to myself that it was either that day
or some day in the next 2 weeks.
She is coming sooner then later!


I asked the Dr. what would cause the high blood pressure,
and she asked if I had been really active all morning.

I had been rotating the puppies every 10 minutes for almost 3 hours.
So yeah, I had been a LITTLE active.
(Up and down every 10 minutes can sure do ya in)

She told me to go home, and put my feet up.
Take it easy, and to see what happens next week.
She said if I started getting a headache
or any flu like symptoms
that I was to head in immediately.
I never had either.

SO...
When I go in on Thursday,
if it is still too high,
it will be time to deliver!

CRAZINESS!!

I'll keep ya posted!
Maybe week 39 will be pictures of our new little baby girl??

I had an audience for the first time.
They were making my laugh the whole time...
Not helpful when you feel dumb anyway!

My mom was a sweetie and took me to get my toes done!
I LOVE THEM!
We are FOR SURE ready to go now!
And now you can see the extent of my water retention.
Its all in my ankles, feet and toes.
As my husband JUST said...
"WOW, THOSE ARE BIG FEET"...
Helpful, REALLY helpful!

I cannot complain!
It took until this week for it to STAY!

WEEK 37

I knew there was a reason to hold off on posting this week!

We had a very LONG-GREAT day yesterday.
No worries,
We didn't have our baby
But Russ DID deliver our new little PUP!!
(As well as 7 of his brothers and sisters)

HERE IS OUR LITTLE DUKE!!

Duke was born June 21st, 2010 at 2:35 PM.
He was #5, and the 1st male born.

It'll be 2 weeks until he opens his eyes.
And we can't WAIT!
We also can't wait to see what his little personality turns out being!

There are 6 girls and 4 boys.
Russ delivered 8, she had 2 more later.
They are SUPER cute!

Sage has been very kind to let us play with her pups.
We can't get enough of them.

But its time to let them be and focus on US.
We've only got ABOUT 2 weeks left!

Let's hope Russ doesn't have to deliver ME!
Although, after yesterday,
I'm sure he could handle it!
...MAYBE...

We are ready.
My bag is packed.
Pre-registration is in.
We know where to park.
And of course we are SO excited!

I'm officially PHYSICALLY ready too.
More because I'm really uncomfortable all the time now,
She's out of room,
and I can't sleep well anymore.

My poor belly is ready too.
I am sure stretched to the limit!

I also can't wait much longer to know whats she looks like!

WEEK 36

Less then a month now,
and our little lady will be here!

WE are SOO excited!
The car seat base is in and ready to go.
I am packing my bag,
And we are ready at any time!!

Everything is fantastic!
Our appointment was great!
I was measuring at 36 1/2.
I am dilated to a 1!
(I know-that's nothing)

She still moves a bunch!
I love watching my stomach poke out all the time.
A foot here, a knee there!
She loves having her back scratched!!
When I rub my fingers along my stomach
she puts her back to the front, and pushes hard.
And she still loves to play around with her Dad!
Anytime he touches my stomach, she reacts to him
SOOO SWEET!
Already a Daddy's girl!

I have not had any contractions.
I'm still waiting to see how painful these puppies are going to be,
Not that I am LOOKING forward to them...
I'm PRETTY sure within the next 4 weeks
I'll know what they feel like!

Can I tell you how much I LOVE UTAH?
The weather has been AMAZING for being pregnant!
I lost all of my water retention!
Well, my foot did.
Its been back to normal for almost a week now!
I love not getting HOT!
(Other then in church I seem to die of heat every week)

Anywho!
Everything is great!
And we can't wait to see our baby!!

WEEK 35

I'm getting slower each week,
I know!
When this baby comes,
I have a feeling it will slow down a LOT more!

But for this week,
We've actually gotten a lot done.

All of the baby clothes are washed, folded, and put away.
Trust me, its was quite the task.
I had 7 loads of just her clothes/blankets!
Her bed is almost ready.
And we will be putting the car seat base in any day now!

I guess all I HAVE to really get done is pack my hospital bag!!
AHHH... I can't believe its almost here!

We are SO excited!
We can't wait to see and hold our baby girl for the first time.
I guess I technically CAN wait, and will.
She still has a little more cooking to do.

I'll admit,
I'm going to miss FEELING her all the time.
Although,
she is getting rather big,
I feel like I could rip wide open at any moment.

I love feeling her roll and kick.
I don't think I could ever get sick of that!

I told Russ the other day,
enjoying this pregnancy SO much may have been a curse!
I hope I don't crave being pregnant.
Does that happen?
Well, I guess I'll get over it if so!

-New this week-
My left foot/ankle has decided to retain water...
Random?
I am not totally sure.
Maybe I'll get a picture of it for the blog.
I'm just glad I lasted until 35 weeks until I started to retain!

My hands occasionally retain,
but they don't hold it for long.

Beyond that its been pretty uneventful.

We did, however, head up the canyon on Sunday.
We went with Kaitlyn
(my cousin who is living here for the summer).
We took random fun pics that I must post.

We held the camera up and took pictures.
There was no prep allowed.

-Real random-
I'm sure I didn't know most of these were taken.
She must have had a few seconds to smile.
My man... SO HANDSOME!
I love spending my time with this stud!

We sure did have fun!
I love Sunday drives up the canyon!

I can't wait until we have a baby to bring along!

What's ahead for week 36?
A doctors appointment!
They will be weekly from here!
CRAZY!!
And a weekend with my hubby!!
I love when he doesn't work weekends!!
Infact,
I just love his days off!
I miss him when he works.

WEEK 34

I know, I'm cutting it close.
But it was a HOLIDAY weekend,
and I got my husband for 6 days!
I wanted to spend every minute with him.
So I did!

I'm one heck of a lucky girl!

During this fantastic week 34,
My Mom, Julianne, Christie and Anne threw me a baby shower!!
Thanks so much to them for all their hard work!
It was FANTASTIC!

It was SOOO much fun!

I am SO glad my dear friends and family were able to be there!
It was a blast, and WE are grateful for the sweet gifts!

Our little girl got a LOT of LOOT!
She is one lucky lady!

Thanks again to all who came!
It meant the WORLD to me, to have you there!!

We are SO excited for them!

And yes, I am still loving being pregnant!

A few days before I hit week 34
I had my first rough night sleeping.
I cannot complain!
It took 34 weeks for that to happen!!

Beyond that, not much has changed.
She is head down,
and its very obvious when I am walking.
